Absolutely no man, no woman, or devil can get you out of the will of God. There is only one person who can get you out of the will of God—you! John challenges you not to be taken off guard when you’re mistreated or experience negative circumstances. Rather, he encourages you to trust that God is in control and will cause all things to work together for your good, that is, if you remain unoffended.
